pam_authenticate failure

Hi all.

I've stop and restarted our server and when I tried to access functions
from the web interface, I'm getting pam authentication failures.

See the following:

E [07/Sep/2005:17:25:31 -0500] IsAuthorized: pam_authenticate() returned 7 (Authentication failure)!

My cups configuration for authentication is using the basic linux
password scheme:

<Location /admin>
AuthType Basic
AuthClass Group
AuthGroupName lp
</Location>

When I enter my password to do printer administration, it won't let me
in.

cupsd is running as root.

Any ideas why I'm getting the failure?
