Print task lasts too long

Hi,

I finally configured my printer in my local net, and I am really surprised  how long it lasts to print any files. Between the moment when I click on the print button and the moment when it prints, there is anthing like 1 min or more if i need specific (2 sides...) printing.

Is that normal, or did I do a mistake in my CUPS configuration.
