[cups.general] Re: access_log writes entry every 5 seconds

what desktop or window manager are you using ?  gome looks nice but it has
too many annoying processes running.  i switched to xfce4 and its great.
try it without gnome or what ever and see if it does it.  and might need
to do it at boot as i think kde and/or gnome leave some processes running
after.  or maybe even at boot.  what distro.   sorry if i missed that
info.  i have alot of emails and delete some fast..
