Getting started with CUPS

Hello,

I'm having trouble getting started with CUPS on a Solaris platform.
When executing a command line "lpstat -p -d" i get a "lpstat: Unable to connect to server: Connection refused".
I get a "lp: unable to print file: server-error-service-unavailable" error message while trying to print a .ps document.
The deamon seems to be running though, i can access to the admin web interface and add a printer.
Any help would be much appreciated.
