To tell you the truth, it don't matter what AIX version you have, if
you're running CUPS 1.1.23 or below, you'll see high CPU load.
Cross your fingers CUPS 1.2.0 will be released for production soon. It
addresses your concerns on high CPU use and among others. It also packs
lots of extra features.
