Solution: Problem in printing to non-Postscript Designjet1050c

@Johannes Meixner: Thanks for the links, they helped a lot. (Hätte ich ja eigentlich selbst drauf kommen können, mal in der SDB nachzusehen ;-)

Now here's my solution:

I took the original ppd (from HP) for the DesignJet 1050C and added one line:
*cupsFilter:    "application/vnd.cups-raster 0 rastertortl"

The filter "rastertortl" is not part of CUPS 1.1.20, so I tried google (and found it).
Placed this file under /usr/lib/cups/filter, reconfigured CUPS and...it worked.
