Print to external programm

Hi

I have to use an external program to sent print requests to the
printer, pu.

Print requests should be accepted from the cups server, processed
and sent to this program instead of a printer.

Any idea how I can do this?
Is there a backend I can use?

-i  Interactive mode
-l  List available devices (with -d: list available options/formats)
-s  Show device status information
-r  Force raw format
-f  Read alternate config file
-m  Read alternate messages file
-d  Specify device
-o  Specify option and value
In non-interactive mode, the device and the plotfiles are required
