Collate help

Hey, For some reason when I try to collate it does not work, I am using cups version 1.1.23-r8 on gentoo.

I have 4 printers can not collate to any of them, when I look at the .ppd It do not show anything about collating. Also there are no options in the web admin interface to do it either. I tired the lpoptions collate=True but did not do anything.

Do I have to edit each .ppd and a line in it to Collate=True?
