pcl barcode to hp4050

We have a program that produces a lookup key and some general information.  The lookup key is translated into a barcode using a PCL filter. This needs to be condensed to 17cpi and sent to the envelope tray.
I can get the barcode to print w/o problems by sending it with option
 -o raw.  But when I try to add other options like -o PageSize=Env10 -o InputSlot=Auto -o cpi=17.2 -o raw  it doesn't go to the right tray or condense.
Any help would be appreciated.
