Problem with AllowUser and @group

Hallo,

we have a printer where only users in special groups
should be able to print (Accounts/Groups are managed with NIS).

The printers.conf file looks like:

<Printer php14c>
.....
AllowUser @group1
AllowUser @group2
AllowUser @group3
.....
</Printer>

OS:   Solaris10
CUPS: 1.2.5

For most of the users this work. But there is one user who is
denyed printing (and he has group3 as primary group).
If I add the username to the AllowUser option he is allowed to 
print.

Any hints how to debug this?
