cups unable detecting usb printer on NSLU2

OK, it seems like I solved it myself. I just entered the URI myself:
"usb://HP/LaserJet 1220".

Now the printer gets recognized but I still can not print. Trying to
print a test page results in:

Unsupported format 'application/postscript'!

Anybody with some help on this one?
