I still cannot get my Brother HL-1440 to print starting at the top of the imagable area. It still wants to start at the physical top of the page, which means the first .17", or 12 picas, is not printed becase it is in the "unprintable" area of the printer.

Here is what is printed in error_log:

D [04/Dec/2006:14:51:56 -0500] [Job 395] 0 %%Page: sheet01 1
D [04/Dec/2006:14:51:56 -0500] [Job 395] pw = 576.0, pl = 768.0
D [04/Dec/2006:14:51:56 -0500] [Job 395] PageLeft = 18.0, PageRight = 594.0
D [04/Dec/2006:14:51:56 -0500] [Job 395] PageTop = 780.0, PageBottom = 12.0
D [04/Dec/2006:14:51:56 -0500] [Job 395] PageWidth = 612.0, PageLength = 792.0
D [04/Dec/2006:14:51:56 -0500] [Job 395] 0 %%PageResources: (atend)

So, if it says page bottom is 12 picas up and the page length is 768 picas that equals 780 picas. And, the physical paper is 792 picas, that leaves another 12 picas from the top. It even says PagetTop is 780 picas.

So, why is my printer still printing everything up 12 picas?
