Uhmm... what do you mean with "32-bit driver directory"?

Do you mean the W32X86 directory?

That's perfect -- it's what the PostScript driver versions support that
gets installed with 'cupsaddsmb'. (The man page says it only supports
Windows 2000 and higher [these drivers go into W32X86] and Win95/98/Me
[these go into WIN40]...).

I don't think that W32{ALPHA,MIPS,PPC} machines (with Windows!) are in use
anywhere on the world any more.

IA64 and x64 are not supported by cupsaddsmb (if people have these types
of clients they need to upload drivers for, they have to do this with the
help of a Windows machine, running the Add Printer Wizard there and point
it to the Samba server).
