IBM ProPrinter 3Xl

Hi and thanks for your advice.
We already tested a lot of the drivers you recommended.
With most of them we get smilies and hearts and so on.
Thats why I am looking for this special driver.

I am not very familiar with the printer on the clients site (it is located in the rooms of the customer). I was told it is a Tally 6180 which is configured to emulate IBM Proprinter 3xl.

We changed the system from unixware to Suse a few weeks ago. On the unixware system the IBM Proprinter driver works properly.

And I also do not have much knowledge of CUPS. Thats why it would be much easier for me to use a driver. But I will have a look to the url you posted.
