I installed the lastest CUPS from ports and now when i go to the web interface http://localhost:631 i get server busy or not available. i've follwed all the howto's i can find but no success. if i missed something please let me know. i have a standard conf file no major changes except for the optional user for admin usage but that shouldn't stop me from contacting the CUPS server that should be local on the box. i even tried the gnome-gups-manager and when i launch it i get this error "The CUPS server could not be contacted." and when i click ok back to the desktop. the only thing that i have tried is seeing if the gnome autologon is messing with the startup script but whenever i run "ps auxx | grep cupsd" i get the following response "awb79 3151 0.0 0.1 1508 996 p1 S+ 10:59AM 0:00.00 grep cupsd" no second line like the howto's show. any help would be greatly appreciated.
