/var/spool/cups and other q's

Hello,

It seems cups is filling these directories very quickly with job history and temp files.

I did find this:

http://www.cups.org/newsgroups.php?s1+gcups.general+v4+T0+Q%2Fvar%2Fspool%2Fcups

and was wondering if that is still the recommended fix?  should I just create a cron job to delete them on a daily basis?  I also set these attributes in the cupsd.conf file:

PreserveJobHistory No
PreserveJobFiles No

What other steps should I take to avoid the bloating of this directory in the future?  thanks!

Ok...onto the next problem - I have a few computers where the printing will get stuck at the local machine and the local queue gets paused.  I try and start the queue again with no luck.  I will try and set the debug level to high and see what I can find out, but hope an easy answer appears before me first!
