removing all banner pages

I have just installed a kyocera printer in PS mode but I am unable to stop it printing banner pages both before and after the job. I have changed the cupsd.conf file and added a   job-sheets=none,none   and also used lpotions, but I always get a one line preceeding bannerpage and a one character following bannerpage.
I note there was no file called   "none"   in /usr/share/cups/banners. Is this correct or do i need a formal   "none"  file??
