[cups.general] Help - cannot manage printers

Hi

CUPS disabled our main print queue for no reason today, and now I
cannot restart the queue. No matter what password I use, I am greeted
with "This server could not verify that you are authorized to access
the resource." I have tried lppasswd -a root to no avail.

This is cups 1.2.1.

I miss cups 1.1 :-(
