Oops, sorry Till, I based that response on an experience that is now
several years old and making sure that httpd was running fixed things
at the time. Back then, cupsd was running, I could see it with a ps
-ea, but it (localhost:631) didn't work till I started httpd. Several
years ago when cups was first intro'd to the then current RH
distribution, RH-6.0 maybe?

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
