Using OS X 10.4.7 on a Macbook (intel)
cups 1.2.2
Using a print server connected to a wireless router with a LaserJet 2100 (PCL) connected to port 2 (lpt2) on the print server
using HP LaserJet 6 series gimp-print v5.0.0-beta 2

The printer port was found by Bonjour (PS-577C44-P2)

printers.conf contains
DeviceURI mdns://PS-577C44-P2._printer._tcp.local.

when trying to print, gimp-print exits with no errors, but then cups can't find the printer

Note that this same printer works from my wife's Powerbook running OS X 10.3.9 and the same HP LaserJet 6 series gimp-print v5.0.0-beta 2. My failures also occured using 10.4.6 and the default version of cups.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Al
