[cups.general] cups-driverd

hi:

I see cupsd and cups-driverd eating lots of cpu ( 90%) and mem (70%) while
trying to add printer in my linux box .Also it cannot add printer after
choosing "Make Manufacturer" using http://localhost:631/. Goes on and on.

Info:

Machine: PIV 2.8Ghz
OS: Debian Etch
cups version: 1.2.2-1
Mem: 512MB
