The standard CUPS software does not (yet) include support for MDNS.
You need to use the dns-sd branch of CUPS from the Subversion
repository...
Support for MDNS may make it into CUPS 1.3 depending on certain API
improvements in the mDNSResponder software - basically right now you
need a separate socket for each shared printer, making it unusable
for more than a few printers.
