texttops failed

I installed CUPS and right PPD , But the GhostScript server isn`t installed. and I use "lpadmin -p HP -E -v usb://HP/Deskjet%205400%20series?serial=TH58B120MP04JK  -m HP-DeskJet_5440-hpijs.ppd -o PageSize=A4" to add a HP printer . then I use lpr print something
,but there some thing wrong ,use "lpstat -t " , shows "scheduler is running

so why /usr/lib/cups/filter/texttops failed , the file is in the right place . should I install GhostScript or hpijs? the printer is HP5440
