All of the drivers are there. Rpmbuild ran without any error messages, but yum still reports that cups is at 1.1-something and RPM will not install the windows drivers. I attempted to install the rpm with --nodeps again and it reported that the RPM was already installed.
cupsaddsmb -U "username%password" -v -a executes with no messages of any kind.
It is still not possible to add the printer from a windows box--the drivers will not download.
I'm tempted to start again from scratch, but the last time I removed cups with yum it blew away gnome as well. Anyone know of any CENTOS repos containing the newer cups?
