still can't print with CUPS

Ghostscript can't find the interpreter initialization file "gs_init.ps"!
Check if this file exists in your ghostscript library path.

What is the search path when you run "gs --help"?
You get an error message, when you run "gs" without any options?

Maybe you have to set your ghostscript library path with the environment
variable "GS_LIB".
