OK, two things: 1.1.17 is over 3 years old, and more than likely this
just "normal" if you have a lot of job history or active jobs.

1.1.23 will help a little (jobs.cgi will only grab the attributes it
needs), and 1.2 will help a lot (string pool for values and paged
output so you won't be displaying hundreds or thousands of jobs in
one shot...)
