Canon i560, Pixus 2.4.1 drivers, Cups 1.1.99; filter crashes on signal 11

this looks like a problem to me...
check the permissions on

on my system they are :
drwxr-sr-x 2 cupsys lpadmin      21 2006-01-06 13:21 ppd
-rw------- 1 cupsys lpadmin 3507200 2006-02-24 12:17 ppds.dat
