[cups.general] OKIDATA Line Printers Slower on Linux - via Jet Direct - Drivers? Linux issue?

Hello

Previous had SCO Server with 3 OkiData PaceMark 3410 printers connected
to three seperate HPEXPlus Jet Direct Boxes.  Installed new Linux
Server (new Hardware) and trying to print to these printers with linux
and printers are considerably slower... some reports are 2 hours longer.
Verified it is not the application printing from but printer.  Adjusted
speeds on printer.  Tried many different drivers in linux.  Does linux
have an issue with Jet Directs?  Is there a driver for these specific
printers on Linux?  Any ideas and help would be appreciated.
