Thanks for the quick response, I'll try the other Epson printers first. This 
printer and Cups worked fine together back when I had SuSE 9.1 and Cups .15.. 
It works from Open Office 2.02 spreadsheet but not the writer. Mainly seems 
to have trouble when I try PDF docs or from KDE and Scribus but using lp or 
lpr from the command line appears to print normal text files fine (thru 
Cups).

I'll post anything I find.

I know this was discussed here but I have not found the thread to see what the 
resolution was.

Over all in the two years I've been using Linux your product has preformed 
very well. keep up the good work.
