CUPS 1.2.0 for Mac OS X --- HELP!!!

Hello all,

I am running cups on as Mac OS X 10.4.6 system and have been using the latest release that was modified for Mac as a DMG file. My problem is that the only available file type it source. Thus, how to I get the cups 1.2.0 source code modified for use on the Mac I am using. I realize this may require compiling, but I have never done that. Perhaps if someone could compile it for me and may do the same for others in my situation. It would be most apreciated. Thank You
