[cups.general] Q. --with-fontpath and --datadir of configure script, seems to automatically append /cups

Hi,

Does the configure directive --with-fontpath indicate where fonts are
installed? Doesn't seem
to be the case as the fonts are installed in DATADIR/cups, where
DATADIR  seems to be
the value specified by --datadir AND /cups appended to that value.

Q. Is there a recommended way to patch configure? I suppose it involves
learning
auto-config? Just curious in case I send you folks a patch.
