The bug is closed now, so I can't add a comment to it, but I backed up 
the /etc/cups/pstoraster.convs file from a cups-1.1.23 installation, and 
copied it into a 1.2 installation, and it still doesn't work.

No matter. I'll wait for my distro ( Gentoo ) to package it.
