[cups.bugs] [HIGH] STR #1721: Stopped or delayed printer jobs in samba printers in CUPS with LPR extension

We have an system with Debian Server with kernel 2.6.15 and CUPS + LPR
extensions. In this system works a Dataflex application that worked in a
Red Hat 7.2 and a lpr system without problems. Now the problem is that we
have samba printers that doesn´t works or if they delay a lot of time.
Could be problem of CUPS system plus LPR extensions? Could be other
problem with CUPS?
