[cups.general] Howto monitor cupsd ?

Hi,

well it's an old suse 9.1 running the rpm from suse.
However from time to time the cupsd is not working and
this causes the samba  file servers (only running as client)
to wait for the print server. In the mean time nobody can work...
Therefore the answer is not so helpfull in the moment.
