[cups.general] ServerName directive

I'm trying to get cups 1.2.6 running on a RedHat AS 2.1 server (kernel 
2.4.9) system.  Everything build and installs fine, but when I try and 
access the Admin web UI is prints out the upgrade URI as:

 		https:/host:631/admin
rather than:

 		https:/host.some.dom:631/admin

and since the machine I am using to admin the server is not in the same 
TLD, the URI is of no use.  I have tried setting the ServerName 
directive in cupsd.conf to both the FQDN and the IP address of the 
server but that has no effect whatever.  What am I doing wrong?
