The Windows system should definitely not crash because of this.

windows-ext is the (undocumented) Microsoft IPP extension operation
registered with the IETF for printer driver download.  We've asked
Microsoft for documentation on this operation several times but never
gotten a response.  One day we may succeed in figuring out how this
operation works and implement it in CUPS...
