cupsd per-user

Hello,

In Cups 1.1 it was possible to start cupsd as a normal user. In FreeNX this is used to start a cupsd for every user with a printer, on a high port.

In FreeNX you connect to a remote server and work there, but printing is local. So all printjobs must be forwarded to the local machine.

I am interested if this is possible in Cups 1.2.
Or is there a better alternative?
