Invoking a preview window on a print job

Hello all,
I was wondering if there was a way to preview a printout while it is still in the printer's queue before the actual printing.
One of the options is the GGV editor.

The reason behind the idea is to be able to filter the printouts and not-print some of them.
With this method I can also see the nubmer of pages that are going to be printed before hand.
