Hello!

Maybe NAGIOS is an option for you. You can add plugins to support other
printer vendors and models. (You can find a plugin for Lexmark here:
http://www.universalnet.at/cgi-bin/generator.pl?src=download.html)

For detailed reports/informations you can use npadmin or perlPrinterInfo (an
old script which I have written some years ago -> sadly I have no time for
a complete rewrite)
