Cups for MAC OS Panther & Tiger

We apologize for our lack of knowledge regarding this subject, but we were referred to your group because of a open-source driver you have which enables MAC systems to print to thermal printers.  Please advise on how to obtain this driver, basic install & setup instructions, and whether the driver is both Panther & Tiger compatible.
