Toshiba SColor-MFP US PS v1.0 PPD & CUPS

Need help with CUPS and Fiery!
The process "fierycupsfilter" terminated unexpectedly on signal 10 - error when printing "untitled" document to Toshiba E311 color MFP.

Using Searchware Solution's Print Window Advanced (latest version) to print out file listings. Directly printing from app. always ends with above fierycupsfilter signal 10 error.
If same document is saved as PDF from print dialogue, then opened in Preview, printing works as expected (shows up as untitled.pdf)

Toshiba tech thinks it has something to do with Print Window's not attaching a file extension to the document being sent to the printer controller which is running Windows XP... the document name always shows up as "untitled" within the print window.

System info:  Mac OS 10.3.9 - 10.4.8, G5, DP, 4.5GB RAM, printers are Toshiba E311s with external S300 Fiery RIP set up via Print Center with LPD printing to the PRINT que using the SColor-MFP US PS v1.0 PPD. Same occurs with printers setup via Appletalk, and IPP protocols. Error also occurs with the Toshiba e-Studio 45 PS3 B/W MFP setup via Print Center with LPD printing using with standard internal controller too.
