[cups.general] page_log has no entry

Hi,
I'm having a problem, when I print a test page cups web interface says that
page was sended to the printer.
The problem is that no entry is added to page_log.

I enabled debug log in cups.conf and there is no error in the error_log 
file.

My question is, an entry should be added to page_log every time?
