Stopped:Job-Stopped

Up until recenty i was able to print fine on both a HP 7260 on a USB and a HP C6180 on a network. Now for some reason I get "Stopped:Job-Stopped" every time I try to print. I have tried restarting CUPS, rebooting, removing the printers and re installing them. Both printers appear to be ready. The USB printer has the error "/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed" and the PhotoSmart-8100 (Default Printer) "Ready to print." thats the driver I have been using for the C6180.
I am using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS
As I said this setup was working up until at least a few weeks ago. Hope someone can help
