new problem after upgrading to 1.2.6: pstoraster crash on signal 10

Same problem here.  Running Debian Etch..  I had to backrev on another machine to get it to work.  Something is definitely not right.
ESP Ghostscript 8.15.3
Cups 1.2.1

Linux sol 2.6.18-4-vserver-sparc64 #1 SMP Mon Mar 26 15:14:19 UTC 2007 sparc64 GNU/Linux
