How to change the backend?

Hi there,

I am using SUSE Linux 10.0 (Cups 1.1.23). The system administration tool YaST correctly detected the USB connected HP 920C printer.

But, I´d like to use HPs toolbox and thus have to change the used backend from usb to hp. How can I do this? It seems the printer is configured in /etc/cups/printers.conf, right? There is a line that looks like this:

DeviceURI usb://HP/DeskJet%20920C?serial=FOO

I changed it to

DeviceURI hp://HP/DeskJet%20920C?serial=FOO

Is this really all I have to do to change the used backend? hp-toolbox still complains there was no printer using the HP backend... so is there more steps to do than just chaning this URI?

TIA!
Malte
