Error messages not stopping

I have over 24,000 of those messages since 9am. It stopped at 24,000 because I shut down cups. If I start it back up, the stream of logs just grows again. That is not normal!

I just want to figure out what the f**k is generating them. The print queue is empty, no files in /var/spool/cups.
