[cups.general] Esp windows ipp client

Does anyone know if the ESP Windows client is being migrated to cups??  
..
I hope so.  We've always liked the cups printing for our admin print 
management on unix servers, but do not want to go back to using 
cupsaddsmb to support our windows clients/servers.   The easysw ipp 
windows client works very well in our environment (not as good as a web 
page, but better than smb).   Reverting back to running cupsaddsmb, will 
require our users to back out of their client install and do something 
different for printer installs.    This might be enough for us to move 
to a different print solution.

Is there any discussion on what people are doing  and what issues arise 
when they migrate from easysw back to cups?
