General Printing

I have two USB HP Deskjets that I connected to my Fedora 7 box.

[root at fedora ~]# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 03f0:7804 Hewlett-Packard
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 03f0:1004 Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 970c/970cse
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

In https://fedora.myhome.com:631/printers/

If try to print a test page to either printer nothing prints and both printers show up as:

Deskjet_D1300_series "open device failed; will retry in 30 seconds..."

HP_DeskJet_970C_USB_MX9BL1B0FDJT_HPLIP (Default Printer) "open device failed; will retry in 30 seconds..."

I have no clue as to the next step...
