strange cfA data generated by CUPS lpd

Hi,

a added a printer to CUPS system.
The printer is set to be connected on localhost via lpd.
Now if I print something (for example "test lpd.pdf" file) on this printer, the generated cfA data is strange.

It generates the following cfA:
Hmypc.mylan.lan
Pmyaccount
Jtest lpd_pdf
ldfA339mypc.mylan.
UdfA339mypc.mylan.
Ntest lpd_pdf

--> the N is supposed to be the real file name. but somehow the point is now converted to a underscore character.

Is this the normal CUPS behaviour?
