Commands or Log Files to view JOB STATUS & JOB NAME(File name of printed file)

Hi all;

I wanted to know if there are any commands to view JOB STATUS(like status: done) and to view the name of the file printed........???
Do the above mentioned details get stored in any log file or any where in CUPS...??so that i can read the values of the job status and the name of the file being printed..?

Any help in this regard will be really helpful;
